How to fix a bmx loose crank?

i have a diamondback joker its a pretty nice bike but i used it for about 3 months and now the crank is loose im scared if i keep using it, it will either brake off or its will break the insides of the crank.... so how can i tighten it so my spindles aren't so wiggly... and what tools will be needed.
