Half a centimeter black wormy things PLEASE HELP 5*?

Hi this is urgent today I saw a black tiny Little thing on my hand its think as anything its tiny it hasn't got wings, its not furry it hasn't got legs just a black wiggly thing. i came out the shower looked up to my lamp shade and there was millions of them (ok about 20) and some were even dangling down from a web!! I was wondering what the heck are they its right above my bed so i was wondering if I slept they might be harmful to me btw I live in the uk PICTURES PLEASE SO I CAN IDENTIFY THE INSECT YOU THINK IT MIGHT BE PLEASE HELP 5 STARS
